Changemakers’ Academy by Synergy Bulgaria launches a program for 24 aspiring and entrepreneurial women in Bulgaria

Are you a young and enthusiastic woman in Bulgaria? Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit and envision yourself changing people’s lives? Or even the world! You have the drive and the wish to do great things, but you’re scared or unsure of where to begin! If you strive for a better future and give everything your best, then the ChangeMakers’ Academy by Synergy Bulgaria is the place for your dreams to be realized.
Who can apply?
If you are a woman residing in Bulgaria, between the age of 20 and 35, you can apply. Whether you’re a student, a graduate, or a young professional. You dream of being a social entrepreneur and/or making change for all. You have an upper-intermediate or higher level of English, this is because the program will be delivered in English. You have ideas you want to bring to fruition, but you lack the practical tools and guidance. Most importantly, you’re ready to commit to the full duration of the program and make the best out of it!

What is involved?
This year the program takes place from 30 September to 12 December and begins with four days of mindset transformation training, as having the right mindset is the key to success. During the remainder of the program, aspiring entrepreneurs will learn the basics of leadership, strategic thinking, marketing and content strategy, project management, business life cycle, funding, and team nurturing.
Participants will be split into three teams with an experienced mentor assigned to each. The mentors will follow participants on their journey and help them identify their strengths and points of improvement. Every weekend during the program will be packed with workshops and exercises. Teams will be able to gain applicable skills and learn from experts how to apply their acquired knowledge and put it into practice right away.

Open Sofia is in partnership with Synergy Bulgaria and strives to promote growth and collaboration. Two such inspirational women from Open Sofia who love to collaborate and share their knowledge are, Anastasiia Dehtiarova, Co-founder, Marketing and Partnerships Director, and Agita Jaunzeme, our Lead Project Manager, who are involved as experts and mentors in the ChangeMakers’ Academy.
